House. Late C18. Brick; Welsh slate roof with hipped gables to rear; 3 brick stacks to rear. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, attic and cellar; 7-window range: 6/6 sashes, 3 to left at lower level, under flat arches with stepped keyblock detail; C19 dentilled parapet with brick coping. Central entrance: 8 fielded panel door in moulded architrave, with plain overlight, under moulded open pediment wood hood on enriched consoles; six 6/6 sashes with similar detail. Right returned side shows C19 altered roof line, with C20 casement in earlier moulded frame; brick modillion eaves, continuing over rear wing with 6/6 and 3/3 sash; spur-stones. Rear: much rebuilt C20, but retains C19, 2-tier bay with tripartite 6/6: 6/6: 6/6 sash, to ground floor, C20 plain sashes over, and moulded wood eaves; also C19 projecting bay with tier of 6/6: 6/6: 6/6 sashes under flat hoods on consoles, restored C20. INTERIOR: early C19 dogleg staircase with moulded string and rail, and turned balusters; stick balusters to 2nd floor; stairwell light. 1st floor: panelled dado; 4-panel doors; rear: ceiling cornice and roses; alcoves with panelled reveals; architraves and skirtings. 2nd staircase with stick balusters. Ground floor: fireplace; 4-panel doors; ceiling cornice and rose; bolection moulded fire surround; 4-panel door; architraves; shutters and panelled reveals to window. Cellar: partly stone-lined.
