Parish church. c1865. By FR Kempson. Coursed dressed rubble
with ashlar sandstone detailing; welsh slate roof; stone stack
to chancel. Chancel; nave; north and south aisles; south-west
tower. Aisles have three 2-light windows with trefoil heads
under moulded drip-courses. Similar pair to east window,
incorporating rose window, and flanked by stepped pilasters.
Tower with corner pilasters, and enriched brooch spire, with
weathercock. South-west porch with chamfered pointed arch;
west doorway with trefoil-headed arch and rose-window over.
INTERIOR: polychrome brick with ashlar detailing;
scissorbraced roof; ornate arcading to aisles; C19, and C20
glass (by Morris & Company); early C20 woodwork.
