Range of dwellings, now office and cafe. C18 and C19 front to probably C17 core. Painted brick; steep-pitched Welsh slate roof; 2 brick ridge-stacks; brick stack to rear. EXTERIOR: 1 and 2 storeys; single-window range: early C20 tripartite window, with 1/1: 2/2: 1/1 sashes under segmental arch; rendered parapet over. C20, 6-panel door and tripartite window with plain sashes, under moulded hood on plain pilasters, with possibly earlier arched hood. To right, 3 semicircular arches with stucco springers, containing C19 plate-glass windows with semicircular heads, and, to right, C19, 6-panel door in moulded case with moulded flat hood on consoles and panelled pilasters. Originally part of timber-framed range, partly surviving within No.1 St John's Street complex (qv). INTERIOR: 1st floor: 4-panel doors with architraves; cornice; fireplace. Ground floor: 4-panel and plank doors; fire surround. Included for group value.
