Houses. Late C18. Brick; stone plinth; roof of large hand-cut Welsh slates; advanced central gable; 7 brick ridge stacks. Terrace plan, with 2 central units advanced. 2 storeys, attics and cellars; 8-window range: 6/6 sashes (C20, 2/2 sash to No.35), each with twin blind opening, under segmental arches; modillioned eaves, continuing as pediment, with 3-light mullion casement, with some old glass, over central bay; 6 probably later C19 lead box-dormers, with various casements. 6-panel doors with fanlights, under semicircular gauged brick arches with stone springers and keyblocks, and continuous stone storeyband; No.39 has C20 door and shop front, under simple hood. INTERIOR: No.25: C19 dogleg staircase with stick balusters and turned newels. 2nd floor: plank doors. 1st floor: 4-panel doors; C19 fireplace; wall cupboard with panelled doors. Ground floor: panelled door; corner cupboard with panelled doors; fireplace. Cellar: partly stone-lined. No.27: dogleg staircase with stick balusters and turned newel. 1st floor: two 4-panel doors with architraves. Ground floor: 6-panel doors with architraves. Cellar: cobbled floor; brick and stone-lined. No.29: dogleg staircase with stick balusters and turned newels. 2nd floor: cast-iron fireplace. 1st floor: cast-iron fireplace with timber surround. Ground floor: early C20 fireplace; wall cupboard. Cellar: stone-lined; overlight. No.31: C19 dogleg staircase with stick balusters and turned newels. 2nd floor front: C19 fireplace; plank doors. 1st floor: C19 slate fireplace; 4-panel door; 5-panel door. Ground floor: plank door; 4-panel door; C19 wood fire place; 6-panel door; tiled fireplace. Cellar: cobbled floor; partly stone-lined. No.33: dogleg staircase with stick balusters and turned newels. 2nd floor: 4-panel doors. 1st floor: fireplace; 4-panel doors. Ground floor: late C19 fireplace; 6-panel door. Cellar: part-cobbled floor; stone and brick-lined. No.39: dogleg staircase with stick balusters and turned newels. 2nd floor: plank doors. 1st floor: C19 fire surrounds. Ground floor: chequered tile floor; part-glazed panelled doors.
