House, now restaurant. Early C19. Painted brick; hipped Welsh slate roof; brick stack to rear. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range: C19, 2/2 casements under segmental arches. Central entrance: C20 door in C19 frame, under segmental arch; flanked by late C19 shop windows with plate-glass, under simple hoods on consoles. Left returned side: various C19 leaded lights and casements; range to rear. Incorporates section of City Wall. INTERIOR: staircase: straight flight. 1st floor: exposed masonry and C18/C19 timber-framing with laths. Ground floor: battered masonry wall visible to rear.
