Shop with dwelling over, now shop with storage. Late C18 or
early C19; altered. Red brick in Flemish bond with sandstone
dressings, and slate roof with red ridge tiles. Double-depth
plan with courtyard entry to left. Three storeys and 3
windows; a pilastered C19 shop front at ground floor, altered
and the fascia now covered by a C20 sign board except for a
lead-clad cornice; to the left of this, a semi-elliptical
arched wagon entry with stone jambs, gauged brick head, wooden
double doors opening back into recesses, and cobbled pathway
with stone-flagged wagon tracks; 16-pane sashed windows at 1st
floor, with wedge lintels, and square 12-pane sashes at 2nd
floor (8+4 panes), their heads under a moulded gutter cornice.
Rear: short back extension to the main range, with loading
doors at 1st and 2nd floor of the side next to the entry, and
two 12-pane sashes at 2nd floor (like those at the front), but
otherwise covered by C20 extensions.
