House. Late C18. Red brick, Flemish bond, hipped, peg-tiled roof. Adapted from a C17, 3 unit plan with off-centre stack. 2 storeys. E front, window range 1:3:1 and C20 pedimented porch on console brackets with glazed door. Brick cyma moulded cornice with dentils at eaves. Double hung sashes with glazing bars in segment headed plain reveals. S end has 2 window range and N end one. S pillared porch C20 addition adjacent to a blocked doorway. E front has C20 pedimented porch on console brackets. INTERIOR: upstairs corridor has panelling C16/17 (from original house?). Remnants of scribing for tuck pointing in brick mortar on E front and N side walls. Morant, 1768 mentions Lost Hall. (Morant P: The History and Antiquities of the County of Essex: 1768-).
