GV II
Two houses. Early C19. Flemish-bond brick, stone shouldered copings, stepped voussoirs, cills and steps; pantile roofs with brick stacks to gable ends. L-shaped plan. 3 storeys; each house is 2-window range. The street is angled at this point. No.13 faces NE; it is virtually a rear right wing to No.15 which faces NW with a blank gable end to the left return, No.13 is to the left of that. The windows have flat arches with stepped stone voussoirs; those to No.13 are sashes, 3/3-panes to the second floor, 6/6-panes to the first floor and 8/8-panes to the ground floor left; a 6-panel door to the right has 2 beaded panels below 4 raised-and-fielded panels and a semicircular fanlight with radiating glazing bars; it is set in an open pedimented doorcase with restored pilasters. Windows to No.15 face NW; and are similar to No.13 but those to the left are tripartite; that to the ground-floor left is a 4/4-pane sash and to ground-floor right is a French window with 2 panes to the overlight. INTERIORS not inspected.
