House, now salon and shop, and attached steps and railing.
c1820, with mid and late C19 and late C20 alterations. Painted
brick with stucco basement and concrete tile roof with a coped
gable and single gable stack. First floor sill band. 3 storeys
plus basement; 4-window range of plain sashes. Above, 4
smaller plain sashes. All these windows have painted brick
flat arches. Ground floor has a late C19 tripartite shop
window with arched central glazing bar and leaded toplights.
To right, a C20 glazed door with flat hood on scroll brackets
and an overlight above it. Basement has 2 segment-headed
windows, the left one larger. Outside, stone steps with
scroll-topped wrought-iron balustrades, late C19, and matching
area railing.
