GV II
6 houses. c1845, with mid C19 and late C20 alterations. Yellow brick with painted ashlar dressings and hipped slate roof with 3 coped ridge stacks. Plinth, first-floor sill band, modillion wooden eaves with panelled frieze. 3 storeys; 20 window range. Nos 74-82 have 3-window fronts; No.84 has 5 windows. Windows are plain sashes, those to the first floor with eared and shouldered architraves. Above, 20 smaller sashes with keystone lintels, those to Nos 76 & 82 replaced by plastic-framed casements. Ground floor has in the centre 2 double porticos with entablatures and square Corinthian columns and pilasters, covering half-glazed doors with side and top lights. Each portico is flanked by single canted wooden bay windows with moulded cornice which break forward over enriched scroll brackets at the angles. Beyond, to left, No.74 has a similar single portico covering a single panel glazed door, c1900. To its right, a bay window identical to the others. No.84, to right, has a single central portico with half-glazed door, flanked by single bay windows.
