GV II

House, now offices. c1797, with C19 alterations. Brick with
painted brick basement and painted ashlar dressings, with
slate roof and a renewed gable stack. Plinth, ground floor and
first-floor sill bands, slab-coped parapet. Windows have brick
flat arches. 3 storeys plus basement and attics; 3-window
range of plain sashes and above, three 9-pane sashes. Above
again, a low pitched gabled dormer with a 2-light casement.
Ground floor has to left a wooden doorcase with Ionic 3/4
columns and dentillated cornice and pediment. Round arched
doorway with steps to fielded 6-panel door with blank
fanlight. To right, 2 plain sashes. Below, double door to
basement, with 2 glazed panels.
