3 houses, now offices and shops, and attached railings. c1820,
with mid C19 and C20 alterations. Brick with rendered left
gable, painted ashlar dressings and artificial slate roofs
with 2 ridge stacks. Basement string course, moulded gutter
and brackets. 6, to left, has first-floor band. Nos 7 & 8 have
first-floor cornice. 3 storeys plus basements; 9-window range.
Windows are plain sashes with slight segmental heads and
splayed lintels. Each house has on the first floor 3 windows,
and above, 3 smaller windows. Below, to left, 2 windows, and
to right, a wooden doorcase with Tuscan columns and
entablature, approached by stone steps with cast-iron
balustrades. Moulded 6-panel door with fanlight. Painted
basements have late C20 fenestration. Outside, slender
cast-iron area railings and gates, matching the balustrades to
the steps.
