BOURTON SILVER STREET SU28NW (North side) 4/45 The Old Manor House and Highlands
- II
3 Cottages, now 2. Dated 1817. Limestone ashlar, Welsh slate roof. Double- depth plan, staircase in hall opposite entry. Late Georgian style. 2-storey, 6-window range. 2:2:2 facade. Cambered arches with rusticated grey keystones over 3 asymmetrically placed doors, one now blocked, the other 2 with late C20 ledged doors. Cambered arches with rusticated grey keystones over 8-pane sashes. Plain parapet, segmental pediments over square corner finials with central wreaths. End and ridge stacks have moulded caps. Hipped roof obscured by parapet. Interior: some 4-panelled doors, and opposite entry are straight-flight stairs with plain balusters and moulded newel. 3- window range and gabled service wing to rear of Old Manor House built in similar style; original 4-panelled door and late C19 two-light sashes. C20 extension to rear of Highlands.
