CORSHAM PICKWICK ST 86 70 (south side) 4/304 Nos. 20 and 22 and low front boundary wall 20.12.60 (Formerly listed as separate items and as Nos 20 and 22 only) GV II

Two houses, early to mid C18, rubble stone with stone tiled roofs, coped gables and end wall stacks. No 22 has 3-storey, 3-window formal front with flush quoins, string courses over ground and first floors and flush cyma-moulded mullion windows, 2-light except one 3-light to ground floor right. Central 6-panel door in flush moulded surround with hood on brackets. Tall stone-tiled lean-to on west end with ashlar facing on north wall, to road. No 20, to left, is of 2-storeys, 3-window range with string course over ground floor and flush quoins at north-east angle. Two-light windows as on No 22. Central 6-panel door with hood on brackets. Extension on east end, Bridgwater tiles and coped gable. Attached low wall in front of both houses, rubble stone, coped with ramps up each end and pairs of ashlar piers with cross-gabled caps to each entry.
