Details
LACOCK REYBRIDGE ST 96 NW 3/153 Rey Mill House II
Country house, c1860, ashlar with low-pitched deep-eaved slate roof and panelled ashlar stacks. Two storeys, asymmetric Italianate style with gables treated as open pediments. Painted bracketed eaves. North and south sides and west end have similar gables with tripartite ground floor window, broad band supporting paired angle pilasters up to pediment angles, tripartite first floor windows and pediment lunette. On north front, gable projects with 2-storey 2-window range of sashes to left and 2-storey porch, possibly altered at top level, in angle to right. Paired stone piers to porch and C20 neo-Georgian hood. South front has gable to right, with lower window altered to door. Range to left has broad plinth and band, tripartite window to each floor to left and large arched stair-light to right. East end service range altered on south side in neo-Georgian style.
