House, now inn. Mid-C18 possibly incorporating an earlier core. Roughly dressed limestone with stone dressings; stone slate roof. Two-storeys and attic. Integral rendered end stacks. Two hipped dormers with 2-light small-paned wooden casements. Two-window front; boxed glazing bar sashes to left and 2-light small-paned wooden casements to right, all with flat stone arches and stone cills. Central half-glazed door (2 beaded flush panels and margin lights) with moulded wooden architrave and C20 gabled glazed wooden porch with half-glazed door. One-storey lean-to addition to right. Rear with catslide roof over lean-to and central gabled staircase tower with casement and globe finial at apex. Interior: central dividing wall removed in C20 to create single large room. Chamfered spine beams. Open fireplaces at each end with-plain stone reveals and chamfered wooden, lintels with ogee stops. Panelled window shutters.
