II
Farmhouse, now house. Early to mid-C17 with C18 additions. Coursed limestone rubble, with some dressed stone to front. Stone slate roof. Three-unit T-plan house, with C18 one-unit addition to right and projecting C18 wing at right angles to right. Two storeys and attic, gable-lit to right: 2-storey wing to front. Integral ashlar end stack to left and ashlar ridge stack off-centre to right (probably formerly an end stack). Pair of outer gabled full dormer and central full-height gabled porch. Three-window front; 2-light wooden casements with wooden lintels. Probably C18 ground-floor gabled porch extension; boarded door with wooden lintel and 3-part rectangular overlight with wooden lintel. Right-hand gable end has wooden casements with flat stone arches. Rear: straight joint to left in line with ridge stack. Central one-storey wing with 3-light window in gable. Wing to front with stone ridge stack, 2-light wooden casements and one-storey lean-to. Interior: ground-floor partition walls removed to form one large room with cut-back ceiling beams and chamfered joists. Open fireplace to right with chamfered wooden lintel. Open fireplace in left-hand bedroom with wooden lintel. C17 semi-circular winder staircase in porch from first floor to attic. Old fireplace in left-hand bedroom with wooden lintel.
