Details
BREMHILL DUMB POST HILL ST 97 SE 8/32 Dumb Post Inn II Inn, early to mid C18, rubble stone with concrete plain tile roofs, coped gables and ashlar end stacks. Two storeys and attic. Three- window formal south front with flush quoins, raised plinth and windows with architraves and keystones, the keystones cut back above architraves. Cornices over ground floor windows. Eight-pane sashes each side, blank first floor centre window and blocked central door in raised moulded arch-headed surround with imposts and keystone. Hood on brackets over. Attic windows to end walls. West end has first floor 24-pane window in architrave with keystone and blank window in raised surround with keystone. Later C19 1 1/2 storey rear wing with large west side-wall stack and north end stack. Eaves roof with three eaves-breaking dormer gables. Casement pairs above, central door in porch below, triple casement with top-lights each side.
