Shown on O.S, map as Bould Cottages. Cottage. Late C17, extended mid-C20. Uncoursed limestone rubble; stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Windows to left and right of central C20 boarded door with chamfered lintel, C20 metal casements directly below eaves, chamfered 2-light mullion window to left and 3-light window to right on ground floor, both with dripstones. Integral end stack with moulded dripstone and capping to right and C20 ridge stack (possibly in position of former end stack) at junction with C20 addition to left. Back wall has two 2-light mullion windows with dripstones to first floor one to lower left and C20 casement to lower right. Interior. Right ground-floor room has chamfered spine beam with stepped ogee stops; remodelled ing nook fireplace. C20 addition is not of special architectural interest. [2546]
