Bottle making shop. c.1886. Brick with slate roof. Round- ended building with gabled wing to north. Round end has brick segmental arcading, now blocked, approached by ramp. Oval cone protruding through roof. Interior not inspected but basement said to have cast iron columns and beams, with air and gas flues in basement. Built to house a Siemens tank furnace. Reference: A Guide to Merseyside's Industrial Past P. Rees, 1984. p22.
