Marked on O.S. as Beard's Farm. House, C16 and C18, rubble stone with stone-tiled roof with ashlar east end wall stack to C18 range and 2 ridge stacks to C16 cross- wing. L-plan. South front range 2 storey and attic with hipped dormer and 2 window range, flush cyma-moulded 2-light windows above, door in C20 porch and 3-light flush cyma-moulded window with square dripstone below. Open lean-to on east end wall and lean-to rear range. Cross-wing to east side is one storey and attic with half-hipped south gable and 2-light cyma-moulded upper window and 3-light lower window with square dripstone. West side has 3 hipped eaves dormers-and 4 buttresses with various windows between, mostly C20, one 3-light cyma-moulded window with square dripstone. Lean-to against east wall. Interior: cross-wing south end room has large Tudor-arched stone fireplace and heavy chamfer and stopped beams. Central room has c1700 bolection moulded stone fireplace. Main range has Tudor- arched stone east end fireplace, main stair removed.
