4/3 Hollin Hey Farmhouse (formerly listed under Downall 7.12.66 Green Road)

Farmhouse. Inscription on lintel "TG 1680", 1st floor rebuilt in 1875. Stone with 1st floor of red brick banded with blue brick and with stone dressings; roof now covered with felt. 2 storeys and 4 bays. Weathered base, drip mould over ground floor and similar 1st floor sill band. Ground floor windows of 3:4:3 lights with double-chamfered mullions, transoms and label moulds. Entrance to 3rd bay has pointed head with inscription above. Porch with diagonal buttresses and lean-to roof, possibly later. C19 1st floor has windows of 2:3:1:2 lights with gablet over 3rd bay. Brick cross- axial stack between 1st and 2nd bays. Right return has rectangular bay window of 3 lights with transom and crenellated parapet.
