MARCHAM CHURCH STREET SU4596 (West side) 18/144 Dovecote approx. 20m. NW of No. 15 (The Tithe House)
GV II
Dovecote. C17. Uncoursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; chamfered timber lintel over C20 plank door: drip course above. Gabled side walls have nesting holes with stone perches at top, and timber lintel over blocked door to right. Glover on ridge has stone slate roof. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest. Early C19 extension to right of limestone rubble with gabled old tile roof: of two-storey, one-bay range with chamfered timber lintels over C19 plank door and 2-light casements to rear.
