SHERSTON COURT STREET ST 8485-8585 (south side) 8/100 Manor Farmhouse II

Former Farmhouse, now country house. C17 core range with 1831 addition, 1929 wing and 1960s wing. Coursed rubble to C17 range, squared and coursed rubble to 1929 wing, render to 1831 block, south front of 1929 wing and 1960s section; stone dressings and stone slate roofs with stone stacks. T-shaped plan with core range to rear, 1831 south addition and C20 east and west pavilion-type wings. South front with central block of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows and flanking single-storey, 2-window pavilions with hipped roofs. Central block has 12-pane sashes to lower floor in pairs within blocked surrounds and single 12-pane sashes to upper. Similar paired sashes to wings. Central ground floor former door opening has a 16-pane sash. Plat band below plain parapet and 2 hipped dormers with 2 and 3-light casements. Interior. Core range has C17 circular newel staircase.
