Row of 29 headstones. C17 and C18. Ironstone. From left to right. First group of 7 headstones: some segmentally headed, most boldly carved with cartouches cherubs heads, scrolls, flowers and fruit. Second group of 6 headstones: mostly boldly carved with scrolls, wreaths, cherubs heads and floral decoration. One dated 1680 has winged head and wreath. Third group of 7 headstones: mostly boldly carved with cartouches, panels, skulls and cherubs heads. Scrolled or cambered heads. One double headstone with open pages of a book. Fourth group of 9 headstones: tall and plain with cambered heads apart from one which is boldly carved with cartouche and cherub's head. Included for group value.
