House. C17 core with early C19 facade and additions. L shape
plan, with a further range behind the south wing. Timber framed
core with some plasterwork to rear; the 2 main wings of
colourwashed red brick, each with plaintiles to the front and
pantiles to the rear. 2 storeys with attic to east wing. Main
facade to south: 5 window range, 2:1:2, the centre bay set
slightly forward; sash windows with glazing bars in flush frames,
flat brick arches; central doorway with inset 6-panel bolection
moulded door, rectangular fanlight, convex pilasters, cornice;
paired bracketed wooden eaves cornice. East wing with 5 window
range, inset sashes with glazing bars, flat brick arches; 2
catslide dormers, some leaded panes; internal stack.
