6/30 Glebe House (formerly 6.1.66 listed as House, Grove Buildings).
GV II
House, attached to former School (q.v.). Possibly C17 origins, but mainly late C18 or early C19. Coursed rubble, plain tile roof. An L-plan with main front having door off centre to right, and a lower wing to rear left. Two storeys, 4 windows. At ground floor a large 20-pane and a small 16-pane sash to left of door, then paired 16-pane sashes to right; first floor has four 20-pane sashes. Flush 6-panel door, part-glazed under timber hood. Sashes all with flush boxes, and some straight joints in walling suggest earliest forms of opening. Gable brick stacks. Left return has canted bay with 8:12:8-pane sashes and 8-pane fixed to ground floor; 3-light steel casement above. Wing has 3-light below 2-light leaded early casements; C20 lean-to porch and doors under 2-light half dormer . Beyond is an outbuilding with double Roman tile roof.
