House. Cross-wing c.1530, main range c.1580. Rendered plinth; small
timber-framing with rendered in-fill; C20 plain-tile roof. hipped to right; brick
and stacks, ridge slack to centre. 2-storey, 3-window range, with single storey
and attic cross-wing to right. 6-panel door to left of centre with flat hood on
brackets. 3-light casement to right. 2-light casement to end of cross-wing.
3-light casements to first floor. Blocked window with diagonally set mullions to
first floor left of centre. 2-light casement to gable end of cross-wing. Raised
cruck truss to gable end of cross-wing. Left return: double Queen-post roof
truss to gable end. C17 addition to right. Painted coursed stone-rubble; C20
plain-tile roof. Single storey and attic; 2-window range. Two C19 casements.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest. Rare example of original
2-storey cruck range forming cross-wing.
