SHENINGTON WITH ALKERTON KINWELL SP 3642-3742 (West side) Shenington 7/66 Amber Thatch II Kinwell is wrongly marked on O.S. map as Kenhill Road. House. Late C17 with extensive C20 alterations. Squared, coursed ironstone rubble. Artificial stone slate roof. Stone end stack. 2-unit plan extended by a unit to form a 3-unit plan. 3 storeys. 3-window range. 2 levels. Three C20 doors with stone flat arches. Renewed C20 windows throughout in original openings with stone flat arches or wood lintels. Rear has a 2 storey staircase projection with a sloping roof. Said to have 2 inglenooks, beams and the original wood staircase. Interior not inspected.
