Mid to late C19. Two storeys with one-storey one-window section to left. Ashlar with long and short quoins at ends of main block. Stringcourse. Moulded cornice with egg motif, parapet with open balustrading above windows. Three windows with architrave surrounds and moulded cornices above. Ground-floor has triple lights, divided by square mullions, with raised surrounds, moulded cornices supporting residual pediments over. Sills are supported by small brackets. Central door surround with narrow entablature over, supported by pilasters with tall bases. Round-headed doorway with keystone and impost capitals, semi-circular fanlight and six-panel door.

All the listed buildings in Church Street the Chantry Little Chantry, Barton Orchard and the Catholic Church of St Thomas More, Market Street form a group with Nos 7 and 9 to 19 Barton Orchard, Nos 5 and 6 and 27 to 31 (consec) and wall Newtown.
