Gate piers, gates and short length of flanking wall at former entrance to Heath Old Hall

Gate piers, gates and flanking walls. Ashlar piers, large dressed stone walls
with ashlar coping, cast-iron gates. Piers each have a plinth, channelled
stonework with Doric pilaster, entablature and casement-moulded cornice
surmounted by large pineapple finials. Inner returns have projection with
console and gates with dog bars and wrought-iron mid-rail. Flanking walls are
ramped towards gates with large carved stone brackets, renewed c1975.
