II

Farmhouse, C17 and C18 altered in C19, rubble stone with imitation stone slate roofs. Two storeys and attic. Main range, to left has coped gables and end stacks, 2-window range, first floor C19 4:12:4-pane tripartite sash and 12-pane sash, ground floor casement pair and triple casement. South end half-hipped outbuildinq. Slightly lower range attached to north has north stack, two first floor C18 three-light cyma-moulded flush mullion windows and ground floor 6-panel door with C19 tripartite sash to right. Main range has early to mid C17 details to rear, ground floor two 2-light recessed chamfered mullion windows and door to left in chamfered surround. Remnant of a dripcourse stepped as hoodmould over door. First floor has single long hoodmould but only one C19 sash. Rear of north range has rear wing with south side 2-window range of casements, lower windows with hoodmoulds. Single storey west end outbuilding. Parallel range to north. Early C18 stair with heavy moulded rail and turned balusters and two deep chamfered beams in north range. (Illustrated in Draycot Estate sale catalogue 27.7.1920 p48)
