GV II
Farmhouse. Early C18. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings, and some
wooden lintels; Stonesfield-slate roof with ashlar stacks. 2-unit plan with rear
stair projection and subsidiary range. 2 storeys plus attic and 2 storeys.
3-window front of taller main range has leaded casements of 3, 2 and 3 lights at
first floor, but at ground floor has canted 5-light leaded bay windows, in the
outer bays, and a part-glazed door set to right of centre, all openings with
ashlar flat arches. Steep-pitched roof has gable stacks and 2 gabled roof
dormers. Lower subsidiary range to left has an irregular arrangement of leaded
casements plus a further entrance, and has a part-rebuilt ridge stack. Main
range has a "County" fire insurance plaque. Interior not inspected.
