5/15 Ragley Park, Evesham Lodge
- II
Lodge. Dated 1872 on porch. Probably brick with elaborate ornamental sham timber framing throughout, and roughcast infill. Fish-scale tile roof with ridge cresting, brick ridge stack with 3 moulded shafts, end stack with 2 T-plan, with jettied cross wing. One storey and attic, 2-window range. Door with 4 narrow vertical panels with moulded wood surround, inside elaborate timber porch with twisted balusters and shaped tile roof. Iron casements with decorative glazing pattern, in projecting moulded and chamfered wood surrounds. First floor has gabled 2-light half-dormer oriel on right. Pierced and moulded Gothic bargeboards. Original rainwater heads. Left hand return side to road has 2-light window and oriel to ground floor, and gable with oriel to 1st floor. Interior: Chamfered 4-panelled doors.
