- II
House and cottage, reputed to be late C19 conversion of a malt house and barn. C17. Timber frame with whitewashed brick infill. Tile roof with 2 brick ridge chimneys and square louvred cupola with weathervane. One storey and attic with 2 full and 2 gable dormers; 6-window range. Main entrance has 4-panelled half-glazed door in simple moulded wood architrave, and porch of c.1870-1880 with bobbin-turned balusters and tile roof. Door to cottage has tiled hood. Late C19 casements; 3-light rectangular bay window to right of porch. Left return has 4-light bay window. Exposed framing to rear. Interior: C19 straight flight quarter turn staircase. Floor level lower in cottage on right. C20 single storey addition to rear.
