LONGBRIDGE DEVERILL CHURCH STREET ST 84 SE (west side) 3/181 Old Church Farmhouse

GV II

Detached house. C18. Painted rubble stone, tiled roof with half hip to right, brick stacks. L-plan. Two-storey, 4-windowed; casements. Planked door with gabled canopy to left of centre, two 2-light casements either side. First floor has four 2-light casements. Attached to left is early C19 parallel range with 2- light casements and hipped roof. To rear is a second parallel range with 2-light casements and half-hipped roof, attached to this at right angles is late C18 wing with pairs of 18-pane sashes in ashlar cases to ashlar-faced south side with plat band and chamfered rusticated quoins, gable end has 12-pane sashes in ashlar cases. Rear of main range has glazed door and 4-panelled door in porch and 2-light casements. Interior not accessible at time of survey (June 1985).
