GV II
Inn. C17, much altered mid/late C19 and C20. Timber framed and roughcast, and some whitewashed brick. Tile roof; brick stacks. U-plan. One-storey and attic; 4-window range. Late C20 glazed double-leaf doors inside large open porch with wood piers and shaped brackets, and sides with C17 turned balusters. Ground floor built out on left; this and the porch have slate roofs. Canted bay on right. Ground floor has C20 casements with leaded lights. First floor has half-dormers with C19 iron casements with glazing bars, and shaped bargeboards. Brick stack in left hand front corner. To rear: Small amount of exposed framing in centre. C19 brick wing with slate roof on left. Brick wing on right rebuilt late C20. Interior: Ground floor has some exposed framing and ceiling beams. Much altered. Rebuilt wing has re-used king post roof trusses. Upper floor said
to have exposed framing.
