GV II

House, now with shop. Probably about 1727-8. Solid rendered front. Slated roof. Rendered chimney on left gable-end. 2 storeys with attic; 3-window range. Late C20 shop front in ground storey. 3 box-framed sash windows in upper storey: 6 over 6 panes. Moulded board below the eaves. 2 gabled dormers with perforated red crested ridge-tiles; 2-light wood casements with 2 panes per light, each window with a small moulded cornice above it; plain bargeboards supported by a bracket at each end. INTERIOR not inspected. On 20.2 1727/8 the Bideford Bridge Feofees leased this house to John Cleverdon, Bideford, carpenter, 'of his own accord lately erected'.
