House, now public house. Late C18 with mid-late C19 addition. Painted rough render with painted ashlar dressings; painted narrow rock-faced coursed stone; roofs of stone slates with stone gable coping and ridge and brick chimneys, and of Welsh slates with red ridge tiles. 2 storeys; 3-window range. At left, second build with gable to street has C19 shop front with narrow pilasters and cornice framing 12-pane window on painted stone stall-riser, and flushed door and plain overlight at right. Above, a 4-pane sash in oriel window with large cornice which rises into front gable peak. Gable has applied timber struts, and bargeboards with shaped feet. Cast-iron rain-water head and pipes at left. First build at right has painted tooled stone surround to low flush door to left of centre; vehicle entrance to right has boarded doors in plain reveals; at left, canted bay window has wood mullions and projecting flat roof. All windows have sashes with glazing bars, those on first floor are above canted bay and vehicle entrance. Large round-cornered plaque between upper windows has applied relief name: CRICKETERS ARMS in Roman capitals. Roof has left gable coping and cyma-moulded kneeler, and end brick chimneys, the left raised in yellow brick. INTERIOR: not inspected.
