Farmhouse. c1845. Coursed, dressed red sandstone, slate roof. Irregular plan. Two storeys and attic with much lower two-storey wing on east side; four: two-bay entrance front faces Manor Road. Ashlar plinth. Two-storey porch to bay two has buttresses flanking a pointed arch under dripmould; single-light window beneath embattled parapet. Bay three is gabled and lit by transomed wooden casements in chamfered ashlar surrounds having projecting sills: four-light window beneath three-light window; single-light attic window. Set back on right is another gable with projecting stack and cross-window on right; stack pierced by slit window on first floor. Bay one set back from porch has buttress to left of tall casement and small first floor window set in gabled half dormer. Roll-moulded gable copings; multi-flue stacks rise from main ridge above porch and bay three; bay four lateral stack has three flues. Left return: fenestration as front bay three. Two-storey wing: shallow gabled projection with paired sashes beneath cross window. Small cross window on right and another above set in gabled half dormer. Ashlar copings to front and right end gables; central ridge stack.
