Town house. C17. Render on rubble walls; steep asbestos slate
roof; 2 rear lateral external stacks to eaves level, one with
later brick shaft. Shallow-depth plan. 2 storeys over
basement; irregular 2-window range. Left-hand window
heightened and dormered; C20 casements except for early C19
12-pane 2-light casement to ground-floor right (Petroc) over
original doorway, with ovolo-moulded oak frame; early C20
V-jointed ledged door; simple shallow porch with slate roof.
On the left are rubble steps with slate treads up to lean-to
porch with C20 partly-glazed door and window on its left;
basement window left of steps. Rear is 2-window range with C20
casement windows. INTERIOR: Ye Old Fisherman's Cottage has
original rear fireplace with chamfered oak lintel and oak
ceiling joists where inspected.
