GV II
Pair of cottages in row. Early/mid C18. Painted brick, tile roofs, brick stacks. One storey and attic, 1+1-windowed. Broad 2-light casement gabled dormer above 3-light to No.2 and 2-light horizontal-sliding sash to No.2, with further single light to right of doorway. Good plank door to No.3 and C19 flush panel to No.3. Slightly set forward from No.1(qv), and set back from No.4 (qv). Gabled back wing to each cottage. INTERIORS not inspected. A notable surviving example, together with No.1 (qv), of a pair of modest C18 cottages, probably built originally to a one-room plan with rear services.
