GV II

House. Early C19 with mid C19 alterations. Ashlar with projecting quoins; roof of renewed stone slates with stone gable copings and stone chimneys. 2 storeys and basement; 3-window range. Elliptical vehicle arch at left has rusticated voussoirs. Side steps up to central door and 2-pane overlight in plain stone surround with impost bands; at right, C19 canted ground-floor oriel has 4-pane sashes. Basement light to right of steps. First-floor sashes with glazing bars in projecting plain stone surrounds, the left bay widest. Roof has eaves corbels to gutter, plain stone gable copings, and corniced end chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
