Includes: No.1A HALL STREET. House, now shop and flat. Early C19 with later C19 alterations. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with tiled ridge and stone chimney. 3 storeys; 3-window range and 2-storey rear wing forming No.1A Hall Street . Ground floor has voussoirs to wide elliptical arch at right to Hall Street, with street signs to Horse Market and Market Place. Late C19 shop front at left has slender wood mullions and shaped lights with blocked ventilation slits in heads; renewed fascia under cornice with canvas canopy on hinged iron stays. Corniced canted bay window over shop has plain sashes. Similar sashes in projecting plain stone surrounds to window over arch and to 3 smaller second-floor windows. Low pitched roof has tall left end chimney with bands. No.1A Hall Street has plain stone surrounds to central door and flanking sashes with glazing bars. INTERIOR: not inspected.
