Includes: No.1 BACK QUAY. Early C19. Town house, now shop with accommodation over. Stucco on studwork to front; asbestos slate roof hipped on the corner and brick end stacks. 3-rooms-deep plan. 3 storeys. 2-window-range front to Lemon Street has flat stucco surrounds with moulded hoods over late C19 horned 4-pane sashes with rusticated quoins and an extra window to first floor left. Ground floor has 5 segmentally-headed openings with doorway on the left including a 3-light shop front with its doorway towards right; there are moulded architraves and a moulded cornice over consoles. 3-window range to Back Quay has left-hand bay similar to that facing Lemon Street, 2nd bay similar but without cornice and right-hand bay with openings set lower over a circa early C20 double shop front with sloping fascia and terminal consoles. INTERIOR: shops modernised, otherwise not inspected.
