Statue of John Platt. Dated 1878. D.W. Stevenson of Edinburgh, sculptor. Polished granite and bronze. Circular polished granite shaft raised on plinth with angle blocks carrying life-size seated female bronze figures. Standing figure of John Platt, M.P. on column.
