Hairdresser's shop. C19, probably with earlier origins; C20 alteration. Painted brick in stretcher bond on painted rendered ground floor, grooved to resemble rustication; pink and cream mottled brick stack to pantile roof. 3-storey 1-window front, gabled front to street. Plain pilastered shop front with shallow cornice; half-glazed and panelled door beneath fanlight, to left of 3-light canted window. First floor window is 4-pane sash beneath cambered arch, and second floor window 2-light large-pane sliding sash. Both windows have painted sills and louvred shutters. Left return: 3-storey 2-window front, first floor jettied on stepped brick corbels. Part-glazed and panelled door in centre, with 4-pane sash window to left; 2 former openings to right now blocked. On first floor, small inserted window over door, between top-hung small-pane window to left and 4-pane sash with louvred shutters to right. 2-light large-pane sliding sash window on second floor. Included for group value.
