Pair of houses. 1890s. By Edward Ould. Timber framing on brick
base; tile roof with brick stack. Vernacular Revival style.
Single storey with attic; projecting centre under 2 gables.
Framing is simple with large curved braces. Centre has wooden
ovolo-mullioned windows with leaded glazing, of 4 lights to
ground floor, of 3 lights to 1st floor; re-entrant porches
have hipped roofs and battened doors with top lights; 3
cross-axial stacks. Returns similar; single-storey wing
continues left return. Rear dormer window. INTERIOR not
inspected. Part of a village planned for the Wightwick Manor
(q.v.) estate, but not completed.
