3 houses, now offices. Early C19. Brick with stone dressings but ground floor of No 49 plastered; slate roof with brick stacks. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys with basement; symmetrical 6-window range. 1st and 2nd floor sill bands, top cornice. Windows have friezes with oval paterae and consoled cornices; 16-pane sashes to ground floor; 12-pane sashes to 1st floor; 9-pane sashes to 2nd floor. 3 round-headed entrances have fielded-panelled reveals; fanlights with glazing bars over 6-panel doors; Doric aedicules with entablature blocks and open pediments. Gable-end stack and 2 cross-axial stacks. Basement area walls and probably later railings. INTERIORS not inspected but likely to have features of interest.
