GV II
Two houses, now shops. Mid to late C18. Painted brick with stone dressings; concrete tile roof with brick stacks. 3 storeys; 3-window range. End pilasters and top modillioned cornice. Ground floor has paired early C20 shop fronts, that to left altered, window to left with rusticated wedge lintel with fluted keystone over moulded frame, sash missing; 1st floor has windows with rusticated wedge lintels with fluted keystones over 12-pane sashes with moulded frames, but that to right has plate-glass window inserted; 2nd floor has 6-pane horned sashes. Cross-axial stack and end stack. Left return has entrance with aedicule with panelled pilasters. INTERIOR of No 32 has stick-baluster staircase and ashlar fireplace. Part of a surviving C18 row.
